Description
Hello, my name is Lynnette M. and I have been a home carer for more than twenty-two years. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in caring for patients with a range of conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I have always been drawn to caring for people, and the desire to help them lead independent lives has been my greatest motivation.
I am known for my caring, friendly, and helpful nature, which makes my patients feel comfortable and at ease. I have excellent skills in providing assistance with daily activities like bathing, toileting, and dressing, as well as specialized care like catheter care. My patients enjoy my companionship, and I always take the time to socialize with them and engage in their hobbies.
When I'm not caring for my patients, I love to indulge in activities like walking, puzzles, reading, and gardening. I am also an animal lover and enjoy spending time with cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. Although I cannot drive and do not have a car, I am more than happy to use public transportation or walk to my patients' homes.
If you are looking for a home carer who is skilled, compassionate, and dedicated to her work, please feel free to get in touch with me. I would love the opportunity to care for you or your loved one.

Lynette was a live in carer for my mother in law. She was always punctual and reliable. She would stay with my mother in law for two weeks and then swap with another carer for two weeks. Lynette was very attentive and gentle with my mother in law's personal care; she ensured she ate nutritious meals and looked after the home as if it were her own. One of her strengths is her ease at being a companion - in fact she became a good friend to my mother in law, chatting with her, dancing with her, knitting with her and the list goes on. She would pull up a chair next to my mother in law (so that she could hear and see Lynette) and they would look at magazines or watch tv together. Lynette was also able to 'read' when my mother in law wanted some quiet time and would potter around the house, leaving her to doze! Our family adored Lynette and we were so grateful for how she cared for our loved one - whoever she looks after will be a very luck person!

It my pleasure to have this opportunity to recommend Lynette as a live-in carer and to share my experience and impression of Lynette during the time she took care of our late father from December 2021 until September 2022. During her stay Lynette fulfilled her role very well demonstrating that she had a great work ethic, integrity and dedication to her work as well as a willingness to learn and build an inclusive and communicative relationship with our family and friends. Whilst following a Care Plan she would recognise that sometimes there was a necessity to adapt these tasks according to the changing needs of my father as he became much frailer over time. For instance even though my father was no longer able to shave himself Lynette ensured that his pride was upheld and would skilfully and deftly oblige. Lynette proved her ability to cope with a medical emergency one time by liaising confidently and proficiently with the medical staff to facilitate a positive outcome. It wasn’t just her personable demeanour but also her keen sense of fun that was invaluable to my father. As well as being his carer she was also a trusted companion to him in equal measure; Lynette would instinctively recognise and respect, however, those times in the day when he needed his personal space and allow him time alone. Lynette was always well groomed and took pride in her appearance. Whenever visitors called by Lynette would always meet and greet them with a friendly smile and offer of a cup of tea and cake. There was strength in her compassion for my father when he reached his end-of-life stage and as a family we felt he was in safe hands during that extraordinarily difficult time. I wish Lynette all the best in her future endeavours. ~~~o0o~~~
